I'll echo Sharon and Marge's sentiments, Marian! I like your taste in fabric and design.

Thanks Nancy! Next year - I would like to stretch myself a little more and actually do the quilting on some of my work.

Marion, I want to start quilting my small lap quilts myself, too. I bought a new machine and plan to quilt my mil's memory quilt when I get it back. We can push each other alongwink

Five of the six pillows for great grandkids (posted first one earlier in July) so they are all done.  These can be posted as my final "small" project for the year so time to get busy and do some larger projects.  This will be it for August from the look of things unless I am really lucky!

5 pillows

Irene - LOVE your window scene.  Your hubby has great taste for sure.  I really want to get one of these window pane hangings made up.  They are wonderful.

This is a picture of all 6 of the pillows - I "plan" to make matching quilts for Christmas (they were supposed to get done last year ) so I have set aside the fabrics in the pillows to go with the quilts.  Sure hope I can get them done timely.

Thanks, Candis.  They really were fun to make and they all loved them when I gave them to them a week ago.  I am caught up with their birthdays through January 2018!!

Irene, what a beautiful scenic/window wall hanging.  I love hanging something like that in my home.

Marge, your grandkids are so fortunate that you make them such adorable pillow cases.  I love making them, and haven't in a long time.  Love personalizing them for each one I make them for.

Well, dang it. I am having a bad quilting month. I haven't received back the memory quilt to finish. And worst luck, my Boxes and Bows quilt binding is a foot short! It was a kit. I didn't write down the name of the fabrics. I'll have to go to a quilt shop for plan B. That's life, lol.

Marge, your pillows are darling. Great idea!

Happy eclipse day tomorrow, everyone.
