I just finished quilting 3 kids sized quilts (52 inches square). That feels great - only issue is now I have 3 quilts to bind.

Hi Tracey, I have 2 baby quilts to bind this week-end. I am going to try Flange Binding. Hope it turns out well. M

My embroidered baby quilt is ready to add cornerstone rows.  I  just need to put on design board and arrange cornerstones.

At the very least I am going to cut and connect binding strips as well as press fabric for Mystery QAL.. I would love to get the binding onto snowmen and have a finish.

Chelle, good idea cutting and joining binding strips for MQ.  Knowing what size the quilt will finish at makes it easy to figure out how much we need.  Gonna do that today after I figure out what fabric to use for binding.

Just finished marking two KT quilts.  Next on to sandwich and quilt.  One is for our minister who has been with our church for 23 years.  He's going to retire.  Then he and his wife are going to tour the country in a 5th wheel.  So I'm making it a smaller throw.  The other one is from a KT swap here on QATW.  Onward!!

I am quilting on a wall hanging for my dd's room. She loves kitties and when I saw this pattern I just had to have it. I've changed the background, and am now quilting it.

Keep a smile in your heart :) Dorian

What a sweet, precious kitty! She'll be in love with that but bet she'll want to wrap up in it instead of putting it up on the wall. While there I discovered lots of cute, unique kits. I love this month by month quilt with birds, bird houses, and cat silhouettes. https://www.missouriquil...ok/purr-fect-moments-kit

All caught up on swaps so I decided to clean my sewing room. Found a bag with fabric that I bought two weeks ago. There's 4 yards of orchid fabric and I have zero idea of why I bought it!! It's pretty but I normally only buy that much if it's a great sale, backing, or focal fabric. This is tone on tone orchid.

Duh! Walked into the guest room and found the purple, pink, and green quilt top I pieced last weekend. This orchid fabric is for the backing and there's 5+ yards.

My Winter Solstice is getting close.  Made 3 more blocks today, so only need to make 3 more and then I can sash them and turn them into tops.  I think I'm going to put them on point.  I didn't like some of the blocks, so I made several that are my own.  Deciding what blocks to make has slowed me down some, but I think they may make it to the top stage before this month is over.

I finished the top of my zoo animal embroidered baby quilt today.

I am hoping to get it pinned and start quilting tomorrow.

Spent part of the day trying to set up my new sewing space.  There is only one uninterrupted wall long enough for storage and/or design wall.  But I was determined to do both and had to get creative.  My class cabinets are on each end and there is a bookcase beside each one.  Later we will build additional shelves between the two bookcases.  If you look closely, you will see angle brackets on the bookcases that hold my two design walls.  I simply lift one up and over the bottom bracket to get to the fabric on the shelves (the walls will also protect the fabric from the sun).  Overall, I am quite happy with the solution. And yes, I still need to put a permanent batting wrap on the right side.

Barb and "Mr Barb", how cool to be setting up your new space.  I am still a work in progress (so to speak) and can't wait to see what you come up with.  WELCOME to ARIZONA.  You are not more than 250 miles from me. And if you haven't been to Prescott before, check it out, then let me know when you do.  I'll meet you, have a meal with you,  you can stay here, but would love to meet you.
